Hi Anne-M,

I know it's very confusing, the same thing happened to me when I still had a job to go back to, but I am ill health retired now. Regardless of whether you have a job or not you will still have to go for an examination, which will focus on the ESA questionnaire that you submitted. Be prepared the tool used by the health professional, who might not even be a doctor, is not designed or suitable for people with auto immune conditions. As you might know I failed mine, but won my tribunal on Monday and was put in "the support group."

If you ask NRAS for my email address I will send you guidance notes on what to expect, so you can prepare yourself for Monday.

love and well wishes,

Barbara

Hi Anne-Marie, I left off my pain releifmeds and my anti-inflams for three days before my medical, I was in a proper state and couldn't have got there without the help of my husbnd and I just answered the questions honestly and was awarded the benifit. Good luck with yours n Monday. Glenys.

Good idea Glenys, I am feeling a little rough today, not to sure how long i can hold out though, i was up so early and its my Grandsons 12th birthday we have our daughter and 2 boys living with us, its not like you can go home after the fun and celebrations, they are hoping to move into their new home in 2/3 weeks after a long and drawn out divorce, they have been living with us for over a year now, and although we love them all dearly, it has left me feeling very weary at times.

Thank you all for the wishes, much appreciated.

Anne-marie xx
